The Roborock Q Revo should be released in just a few days. It has many huge features at a lesser base price than recent models like the S8 Pro Ultra. After doing a bit of research into other vacuum mop combos that have dual spinning mop pads we noticed that the Dreametech DreameBot L10s Ultra has an extremely similar design to the Q Revo. In fact, it seems nearly identical in many ways.
The DreameBot L10s has been on the market since July of 2022 - so we can see a bit of a preview of how the new features will work out on the Roborock Q Revo.
As you can see from the above images, the design itself is very similar with a tall slender dock and the dustbin compartment snapping on/off just above the robot. Let’s review more of the similarities and differences between these two “ultra” robots.
Vacuuming Features - L10s wins (by small margin)
Features | Roborock Q Revo |
Dreametech DreameBot L10s Ultra |
---|---|---|
Suction | ✅ 5500 Pa | 5300 Pa |
Runtime | 180 min | ✅ 210 min |
Dock Dustbin Volume | 2.7 L | ✅ 3 L |
Robot Dustbin Volume | 350 mL | 350 mL |
Roller | Single (Rubber) | Single (Rubber) |
Auto-empty Dock | Yes | Yes |
Washable Filter | Yes | Yes |
Washable Dustbin | Yes | Yes |
Auto-recharge | Yes | Yes |
The L10s Ultra has a slight advantage in runtime and dock dustbin volume. However, we’d pick the Q Revo here because of its better suction power.
Mopping Features - Q Revo Wins
Mop-related Features |
Roborock Q Revo |
Dreametech DreameBot L10s Ultra |
---|---|---|
Dock Water Tank Volume | ✅ 5L | 2.5L |
Robot Water Tank Volume | 80 mL | 80 mL |
Mopping | Yes (dual rotating) | Yes (dual rotating) |
Mop RPM | ✅ 200 rpm | 180 rpm |
Mop Lifting | Yes | Yes |
Mop Lift Height | 7 mm | 7 mm |
Mop Washing & Drying | Yes | Yes |
Mopping Range | ✅ 4305 sqft | 2152 sqft |
Auto-Mop Solution Mix | No | ✅ Yes |
The Q Revo is a clear leader in mopping range, mop RPM, and has a massive dock water tank. These features should allow it to outperform the L10s Ultra. Jaime Andrews did a review comparing the L10s Ultra and other top Ultra robots and the L10s actually came out on top. So you can imagine that if the Q Revo’s mop RPM is higher, and the design is essentially the same as the L10s, it can only perform better.
One cool aspect of the L10s in the mopping category is the auto-mop solution mixing feature. This keeps the clean water tank pure and takes the irritation out of mixing solution. We tend to run only filtered water in our robots, so this feature isn’t a game-changer - although opinions vary.
Other Features - Tie
Features | Roborock Q Revo |
Dreametech DreameBot L10s Ultra |
---|---|---|
Color | White / Black | White |
Zone/Room Cleaning | Yes | Yes |
Laser/LiDAR Navigation | Yes | Yes |
Adaptive Routing | Yes | Yes |
Precision Maps | Yes | Yes |
Remote Video Camera | No | ✅ Yes |
Obstacle Avoidance | Yes | ✅ Yes (Camera-based) |
The main difference here is that the L10s Ultra has a camera that helps with obstacle detection and avoidance. This also allows Dreametech to include other goodies like a remote camera feature. Some people prefer no cameras for privacy reasons and for this reason this category is a tie.
So, what is the relationship between Roborock and Dreametech?
It is not clear exactly what the relationship between Roborock and Dreametech is. Some people believe that they are sister companies, while others believe that they are simply two companies that work closely together. However, it’s clear that they are both committed to producing high-quality robot vacuums.
Here are some of the similarities between Roborock and Dreametech products
- Both companies use LiDAR navigation to map out your home and create a cleaning plan.
- Both companies offer a variety of features, such as object avoidance, self-emptying docks, and mopping capabilities.
- Both companies offer a variety of models to choose from, so you can find one that fits your needs and budget.
Here are some apparent differences between Roborock and Dreametech products
- Roborock products tend to be more expensive than Dreametech products.
- Roborock products tend to have a more premium design.
- Roborock products tend to have better customer support.

The Q Revo is an “Ultra” Robot
Yes, even though Roborock did not include “Ultra” in the name, the Q Revo is most definitely “Ultra” by today’s standards. In general, the robot vacuum community tends to agree that an ultra robot meets these criteria:
- Dock Refills Onboard Water Tank: An ultra vacuum/mop robot with this feature typically has a dock that is equipped with a water tank refill mechanism. When the robot returns to the dock, it automatically refills the onboard water tank, ensuring a continuous supply of water for mopping. This eliminates the need for manual refilling and allows the robot to autonomously handle the mopping tasks without human intervention.
- Dock Washes the Mopping Pad: In an ultra vacuum/mop robot, the dock may have the capability to wash the mopping pad. After the robot completes the mopping cycle and returns to the dock, the dock can automatically clean the dirty mopping pad by using water or a cleaning solution. This ensures that the mopping pad is thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next cleaning session, maintaining optimal cleaning performance.
- Dock Empties The Robot’s Onboard Dust Bin: Another feature commonly associated with ultra vacuum/mop robots is the presence of an auto-empty dock. This dock has a system in place to automatically empty the dustbin of the robot. When the robot returns to the dock, it aligns itself with the dock’s emptying mechanism, and the dock sucks out the collected debris from the robot’s dustbin into a larger storage compartment within the dock. This eliminates the need for manual emptying of the robot’s dustbin, allowing for extended cleaning sessions without interruptions.
These features collectively enhance the convenience and efficiency of the vacuum/mop robot. With the onboard water tank refilling, mopping pad washing, and auto-emptying capabilities, the robot can operate for longer periods, require less frequent user intervention, and deliver consistent cleaning performance.
