Roller Maintenance
The rollers on your Dyad Pro should be manually cleaned every 2-4 weeks, depending on how frequently you use it.
- Place the Dyad Pro in an upright and locked position
- Rotate the rear brush roller to the unlocked position and pull outward to remove
- Remove the front rollers by grabbing the handles and pulling them outward (they don’t lock)
- Remove any tangled hair or debris from the rollers, and give them a rinse
To clean the rollers, use the provided cleaning tool or a brush to remove any hair or debris that has accumulated. You can also rinse the roller with water to remove any stubborn debris. If the roller becomes damaged or worn, you should replace it every 6-12 months.
Replacement rollers can be purchased from the Roborock store or on Amazon: See rollers on Amazon.
Filter Maintenance
The filter on your Dyad Pro should be cleaned every month to ensure that it continues to trap dirt and debris effectively. To clean it:
- Remove the dirty filter from the top of the dirty water tank
- Remove any debris from the filter and rinse with cold water
- Shake off any extra water and let it dry for 24 hours
Replacement filters can be purchased from the Roborock store or on Amazon: See filters on Amazon.
Cleaning Head and Dirty Water Pipe Maintenance
The cleaning head and dirty water pipe should be cleaned every month to prevent dirt and debris from clogging the device. To clean these parts:
- Remove the dirty water tank AND rollers
- On the underside of the device, clean the roller “slots” with a damp rag and the maintenance brush provided
- Also wipe off the charging contacts with a dry cloth
Dirty Tank Maintenance
The dirty tank on your Dyad Pro should be emptied after every cleaning session. But you can clean it every month to prevent bacteria and mold from growing. To empty and clean the dirty tank, simply remove it from the vacuum and pour out the contents. Rinse the tank with water and allow it to dry completely before using it again.
I like to use the brush that comes with the Dyad Pro comes air out the dirty water tank after I rinse it out. While this isn’t strictly necessary, I feel good knowing that the tank is getting a chance to fully dry.
Dirty Water Level Sensor Maintenance
The dirty water level sensors on your Dyad Pro should be cleaned every month to ensure they continue to function properly. To clean the dirty water level sensors, simply use a cotton swab or a small brush to remove any debris that has accumulated on it. This part does not need to be replaced.
The dirty water level sensors are inside the dirty water tank and fold outward for cleaning.
Charging Dock Tray Maintenance
The charging dock tray should be cleaned as needed to prevent dirt and debris from accumulating. To clean the charging dock tray, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth. There is no need to replace this part, as long as you maintain it properly.
